Research & Innovation

He began research and development in 1991, testing new steam distillation methods and reducing the extraction process from 36 hours to only 8 hours, without compromising quality. In 2014, he further advanced his work by inventing a groundbreaking NEW method for distilling Haitian Vetiver Oil called Hydro Diffused Steam Distillation resulting in an essential oils that retain the original aroma and components of the plant without decomposition.

To bring this innovation to life, Marcel built a factory in Les Cayes, South part of Haiti. Operated under the Hydro Diffusion system, the facility continues to produce premium Haitian Vetiver oil that is uniquely different from the conventional oils produced elsewhere in the country.
